If you want a burrito and you're in the Rio Vista area, THIS IS THE ONE. Food is delicious, salsa bar is great, portions are generous, and the prices are a fair value! My table has always been courteously and promptly tended to. I love this place! Best Mexican restaurant in town!
The food......(MY FOOD) was excellent. My Server was courtious, kind, professional and authentic. I had ordered 3 carne asada tacos and a cheese enchilada with a small side of guacamole with rice and beans. My wife had a crispy ground beef taco and a pork Verde burrito that was stuffed with rice and beans. Chips and salsa kept coming. There is a GREAT salsa bar, help yourself. I live here in Rio Vista and my wife is a hugh fan of Mexican food. We usually drive to Vacaville and eat at Peleyos .......so happy to find Taqueria Mexico right here. Now as for the 1 and 2 star reviewers........I HOPE You DON'T come back! And I hope when you get your $78. Bill for 2 tacos with rice and beans and your wife orders her 2 cheese enchiladas in your fancy restaurant You enjoy the meal AND DON'T BITCH ABOUT THE PRICE! The food here was delicious. The service was amazing. Definitely will come here if I'm driving thru Rio Vista. The ambience was welcoming and the restaurant was clean. There was enough cheap for us to sit down and have lunch.
Simply the best family-owned and operated, hidden gem in Rio Vista for a delicious, reasonably-priced meal. Quick, friendly service. Very clean with a traditional decor. Exceptionally delicious whole Pinto beans & refried Pinto beans.
Food is excellent. Tried 5 different tacos. Shrimp, fish, pastor, carnitas and shredded beef. Everyone was excellent. Salsa bar is awesome. Service was great. Really friendly and attentive. I'm going to stop in everytime I visit Rio vista now. Prices are fair. My 1 year-old ate beans and rice. I tried it. Excellent flavor to both. Rice was cooked perfect. 5 stars for Taqueria Mexico. Can't wait to try the weekday specials in the future.
Great food! Great customer service. Definitely returning. Not near but we do come this way when we go to Fairfield. Cristina is great. She Gave great recommendations! My husband was satisfied and happy! He had their Rancheros steak with homemade tortillas. My husband scarfed it down. It's not on the menu, however, the shrimp and fish salad.
